This email is support for the effort to oppose El Dorado County rezone effort of the former Executive Golf Course to Residential/Commercial. The County should be supportive of the residents who overwhelming (91%) voted against this effort in 2015 on Measure E.
As a member of the Blackstone Homeowners Association Board of Directors, I have had many conversations with our residents who, like me, feel that the County should stop making piecemeal revisions to the General Plan. Instead, they should invest in a complete redevelopment of the General Plan that addresses the current needs of El Dorado Hills with a “Smart Growth” approach that helps El Dorado Hills to become “economically prosperous, socially equitable, and environmentally sustainable.”
